Abbie Meador

Abbie Meador holds a B.S. in Biology from Northeastern University and an M.S. in Ecology from the University of Michigan. She has spent more than twenty years working in conservation policy, with experience on Capitol Hill, in nonprofit organizations, and as a consultant. Passionate about sharing her love of the outdoors, Abbie writes for readers of all ages. She lives in Maryland with her family and enjoys fitness, volunteering in her community, and exploring the natural world in her free time.
