Annie Chenaphun Thorp

Annie Chenaphun Thorp worked as a journalist for 10 years and describes her experiences as a third culture kid in both the American and Asian newsrooms. In an industry that is still very white male dominated on both sides of the world, she struggled with middle-managers and her inability, and more importantly, her apathy of moving up the ladder as journalism morphed into infotainment. In Between explores falling in and out of love with a flawed career path, but also the journey of accepting oneself as a hyphenated American. Annie lives in Maryland with her loving husband and their adorable cat.
