Aruna M Lepore

She was born on the Caribbean island of Trinidad, co-directed a family business for several years.  She earned her MBA from the University of Florida in 2003, and in 2009 she put the corporate world on hold when she became a mother, and currently lives in Maryland with her husband, two young children, two South African cats and a desire to be the best mom she can be.

Aruna enjoys casually compiling short stories and poems mostly dedicated to her mother, plays a little piano and loves to paint, but her greatest joy is nurturing her children. She attributes her new love of writing and illustrating a children’s book to her biggest fans, her kids, who have enjoyed years of her story-telling, a skill she picked up while embracing the art of parenting.
