She is a first-time author and longtime cat rescuer. She grew up in Connecticut and on a cattle ranch on the Verde River in Arizona. Now living in Atlanta, Georgia, she loves making up new stories with her grandkids on early morning rides to school. When it comes to cats, she melts.
