Melissa Kaplan
Melissa Kaplanlives in Washington, DC, where she works in congressional advocacy on food security issues. She studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science, earning a master’s degree in Comparative Politics with a focus on Europe. Her passion for history, particularly the World War II era, helped inspire her to write her first novel, The Girl Who Tried to Change History: A Novel. The Second Life of Jack and Jackie is her second novel. Melissa is an avid traveler who has visited over forty countries; she enjoys yoga and barre classes.
